Caption, Heavy Weights-Arrival of a Party at League Island. Runaway slaves being assisted ashore at Philadelphia from schooner which had carried 15 Underground Rail Road passengers. Still was the son of fugitive slaves and headed the underground railroad in Philadelphia through the 1850s (information provided by Phil Lapsansky, Library Company of Philadelphia).
